We are a Maori Kapa Haka (Maori cultural performing arts) Group based in South East Sydney Australia.

Tu Maia in Maori means stand brave,stand confident, stand strong. Our goal is to empower and build confidence in our members through the art of Kapa Haka and to create new pathways for Maori in Australia  wanting to reconnect and learn about their culture.

 

All people of various ages, backgrounds and Kapa Haka experience are welcome. We also welcome people of non Maori background who are wanting to learn Kapa Haka. All are welcome.

 

We meet every Sunday 2.30pm-5pm at St George PCYC, Ador Ave Rockdale, Sydney. Contact us for a trial session.
